How has the definition of Romance changed over the years?

Nowadays, the definition of romance has completely changed. If we look back to the 1990s or the 1980s, romance was very polite at the time, and viewers and readers enjoyed light romance. There was no vulgarity or erotic content in romance. However, times have changed, and readers now expect something unique and fresh, and there is no filter in vulgarity and sexual content.

How is it to write a romantic novel in Hindi and don’t you think you have to be careful?

When I’m writing, I have a clear thought about what I’m writing and where my tale is going, and I always believe in “Go with the flow” writing; I don’t need to be careful in any way.

Would you like to share your experience of working with Pratilipi?

I’ll be eternally thankful to Pratilipi because it was the only site that both encouraged me to write. I’m also thankful to the Pratilipi readers who have read my work and helped me become one of the site’s top trending writers.

Is Romance the only genre that you are focusing on? Do we get to see you writing in different ones?

Romance is my preferred genre, but I am willing to experiment with different genres. In fact, I’m already considering creating horror, murder mystery, and time travel stories, and I hope to have something to share with my readers soon.
