ASSOCHAM to commence MSME Samwaad Series in all northern States

ASSOCHAM – One of the oldest apex body of the country is all set to start its series of MSME Samwaad in all northern states.

ASSOCHAM – One of the oldest apex body of the country is all set to start its series of MSME Samwaad in all northern states starting from Haryana on 21 May 2021, which will be followed by Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and J&K.

Following PM’s dream to make India Atamnirbhar, ASSOCHAM has started a series of MSME Samwaad in Northern states of the country, as it strongly believes that MSME can play a vital role in making India $5 trillion economy.

The first part of the series will start from Haryana as ‘Haryana MSME Samwaad’ on May 21, which is being conducted on a virtual platform following ongoing Covid protocols.

Pratap Chandra Sarangi, Hon’ble Union MoS, Ministry of MSMEs and Dushyant Chautala, Hon’ble Dy. CM Haryana among many dignitaries will be there as speakers.

“MSME can play vital role in making India Aatmnirbhar, the MSME Samwaad series will commence from Haryana following all northern states like Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir,” said Vineet Agarwal, President, ASSOCHAM

A report on Roadmap to Aatmnirbhar Haryana, will also be launched on the event.

“The Idea behind starting this series was to provide a platform to MSMEs to discuss their plans, innovations and problems in their respective states.  MSME has the potential to take the country to $5 trillion economy and as a responsible industry body, it is our duty to boost this sector,” said Deepak Sood, Secretary General, ASSOCHAM.

MSME Samwaad will be followed by a Award function in different categories of MSMEs, for which a large number of nominations has been registered. The awards will be finalized by the jury members and will be announced on the digital platform during the event.

“Northern states have huge potential of growth in industrial sector and MSME has done wonders in last few years. I am sure MSME Samwaad series will play a vital role in boosting MSMEs in all the northern states,” said Amrit Sagar Mittal, Chairman, ASSOCHAM, Northern Regional Development Council.

“Haryana has emerged as a hub for MSMEs in last one decade and we want to make it a best platform for all the investors who are planning to invest in Haryana,” said Vijay Sharma, Chairman, ASSOCHAM Haryana Development Council.

Sharing the idea behind the MSME Samwaad series, Kulwin Seehra, Chairman, ASSOCHAM MSME Development Council said, “Only MSMEs have the potential to get Indian economy back on track which is shattered due to Pandemic. MSME Samwaad series will channelize all MSMEs of the Northern states towards productive growth.” ASSOCHAM’s Haryana MSME Samwaad is being supported by Renew Power, TCI, GNA Group, Jindal Steels, and Knowledge Partner Resurgent India.
